What We Do

PaintBrush is experienced in nurturing innovation and assisting companies evolve to their next strategic transaction. The Firm also provides venture capital due diligence and investment advisory services. Specific services offered include:

• Strategic planning (e.g. product portfolio prioritization, product positioning, IP strategy)
• Partner/opportunity identification, profiling, and prioritization
• Assessment of financing options, and optimal financing path
• Preparation of pitch presentations and business plans
• Venture diligence including product, technology, and market evaluation and analysis, IP assessment, management assessment, etc.

In select situations where strategic value can be added, PaintBrush may take equity in a company in lieu of other payment, or may elect to directly invest in a company. By building long-term relationships with entrepreneurial managers / owners, PaintBrush seeks to create substantial investment value over time.

While PaintBrush is willing to provide significant board-level or advisory assistance and oversight, the Firm typically leaves day-to-day operational decisions to management. In situations where PaintBrush takes an equity position, the goal is to achieve a significant return on investment in partnership with management.
